Public Art Adventures with Jessica

Grab a device and head out into the streets for a digitally guided adventure that listens to your ideas and makes Ballarat’s public artworks feel alive! Artist Jessica Wilson (Child Nation) will walk with you (as your adult tags along behind) and ask for your feedback. Your thoughts are important and will help her finish making two new interactive guides especially for kids. This is a fun workshop that will involve climbing on sculptures, listening to their secrets and using your imagination to fill in the gaps that history left out. 

Mural Designs with Jay Van Nus

Join renowned young artist Jay to learn to transform their sketches into vibrant murals using techniques like the Grid and Scribble methods.

Storytelling with Em

Join lauded storyteller theatre-maker Em Chandler as she tells tales from around the world inspired by the Ballarat Art Walk. With rolling, rumbling pumpkins, Mother Earth's basket, animals, adventures and more - it's an hour of fun for everyone whether you’re aged 5 or 500.

All activities are free to attend. This is a drop-in service, and no booking fees apply.
