Jan Alexander
Influenced by East Asian ceramics, Jan’s work reflects her deep affinity with nature, drawing inspiration from patterns both in the natural world and human experience to embody the intrinsic connection between nature and our well-being. Crafted with recycled and stoneware clay, her pieces feature gloss and Shino glazes.

Karima Baadilla
Karima has exhibited widely across Australia with her works held in a number of private collections both locally and internationally. Her latest is a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize 2022, and the inaugural 2022 Regional Landscape Prize. In 2021 Karima won the Mark Brabham Emerging Artist Award presented as part of the Klytie Pate Ceramics Awards. In 2020 she was a finalist for a number of art prizes including the prestigious Bayside Acquisitive Prize (VIC), The Stanthorpe Art Prize (QLD), Muswellbrook Art Prize (NSW), and Collie Art Prize (WA). Karima was also the recipient of the Maribyrnong Rapid Grant funded by The City of Maribyrnong (VIC) and The Sidney Myer Grant funded by The Myer Foundation in 2020.
Erin Coomans
Erin is a talented ceramicist, photographer and painter from Victoria Australia who creates thought-provoking work. Unique yet recognisable, is deeply rooted in their personal experiences and perspectives. They draw inspiration from their own life story, as well as the broader cultural and social contexts in which they live and works.

Tegan Hamilton
Tegan Hamilton i a glass artist currently working in Melbourne. She has been creating lifelike hot sculpted and blown glass sculptures since 2004 and completed her Masters of Fine Arts in 2011. Tegan has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Australia and internationally including the Talente exhibition in Germany in 2011. She has work in the permanent collection of the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, has been featured in Craft Arts International and shortlisted for the Western Australian Art Gallery’s Tom Malone prize, Ranamok Glass prize, Deakin Contemporary Small Sculpture Prize and The Waterhouse Natural History Prize at the Museum of South Australia.

Koji Hoashi
Koji is a practising ceramic artist in Ballarat, and currently appointed as a sessional lecturer in Ceramics at the SMB Campus, Federation University. After completing his B.Ed. in Japan, Koji moved to Australia in 1985 to continue his research and cultural investigations as well as obtaining an M.A. (Fine Art).

Sarah Mischker
Sarah Mischker is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in ceramic sculpture and painting. She also enjoys printmaking as well as video and installation art. Drawing on experience and memory, she strives to create questions and cause reflections in her work through the use of organic shapes, fantastical elements and folktale morals.

Ana Petidis
Ana Petidis is a studio weaver based in Ballarat on Wadawurrung Country who creates one-off cloth and tapestry works that communicate personal and shared stories through the considered joining of materials and process. In addition to exhibiting her woven works, Ana has worked at a commercial weaving mill designing blankets and fabrics and regularly teaches multi shaft weaving.

Ruby Pilven
Ruby Pilven's ceramics present a contemporary interpretation of Nerikomi, merging structured techniques with spontaneous processes. Her unabashed neo-chintz designs reflect contemporary style, boasting bold yet muted pastel colour patterns and striking 12 carat gold highlights. With distinctive forms, she seeks to infuse everyday life with joy and vitality.

Steph Wallace
Steph Wallace is a ceramic artist based in Ballarat on Wadawurrung Country. Steph's work is deeply rooted in her connection to the landscape, through her work she weaves narratives that reflect the complexities of cultural identity and the legacies of colonialism on the contemporary landscape. Steph's practice challenges established norms by combining traditional techniques with experimental approaches. Her work serves as a platform for dialogue, encouraging reflection and understanding of diverse histories. In engaging with clay, Steph adds depth to her exploration of land by using it as the very medium for creative expression.
