Bren Luke has been been drawing since he can remember. For the past decade he has been working with pen and ink using a crosshatching technique and has created a recognisable style. Bren’s latest series of Ballarat streets can be seen at the Art Gallery of Ballarat until February 2023.

BJ Humphrey fell in love with music as a teen and over a decade later is completely immersed in the scene as a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer and producer. This year BJ began a recording studio with band mates, performs with Apex Bloom, Haven City and has just released his own solo album Wonderland.

It is also a powerful tool for education which Jenna uses to teach young people about Wadawurrung culture and heritage, as well as how to express ideas through art.

Recent arrivals to Ballarat, Salty Theatre (ST) is a female-led boutique theatre company co-founded by Australian theatre, dance and cabaret veteran Sarahlouise Younger (a Slytherin) and Canadian theatre and screen veteran Ashley Taylor Tickell. Established in 2018 ST is committed to supporting creative careers and strong advocates for representation in the theatre.
